Some people think that men go through menopause, they don’t, they just suffer from the fallout when their wife goes through it. She can get headaches, pains in nearly every part of her body, facial hair, irregular periods, abnormally heavy periods, enormous mood swings, loss of hair, forgetfulness and confusion.

If you had just met a woman and after a few weeks she turns out to be moody, complaining and generally not a nice person to be around, would you stay with her, not on your Nelly, am I right? But you have been with your wife or partner for 20 or so years, and all of a sudden she has become the most unbearable person to live with.

Too many men stray, too many men go out and have affairs because they can’t get it at home any more. Sure they feel guilty about it, but what is he going to do. He still wants to be sexually active, he doesn’t think that he is too old for it. He could leave his wife for another woman, but they have a history together, and he will always be hoping that one! day she will go back to being the woman that he fell in love with.

A marriage can break up because of menopause. You may be thinking that men are selfish, that they are not understanding of the pain that their wives are going through. But what about the man, why can’t the woman think that her husband has needs, that sex is his way of having that feeling of closeness to his partner.

Marriages have broken up after 20 or 25yrs of wedded bliss just because of the dreaded menopause. Why is it that men have to be the ones who understand all of the time? I am a man, and I need my sex, but thanks to that bastard menopause I’m not getting any where near as much as I used to, and can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel.

You are never too old to make love to the one that you love. Women need to understand that a sex life has to be nurtured, and most men are still sexually active well into their latter years. If you don’t accommodate your man he will probably get it some other way, some men are happy to masturbate others will look for more accommodating women.

Couples need to take their partners needs and desires into consideration, it is not a one way street. Men should be understanding and considerate of the wives, especially during menopause, but women also need to make an effort to make their husbands happy.

Men have to make an effort to understand what their wives are going through, and believe me they are going through hell. I would hate to have to go through what they do. But women also should understand what their husbands are going through.

We can only hope that once menopause has had its way with our wives that it will give them back to us the way we found them. The loving, horny, sweet little thing that she was in her 30′s.
